SUMMARY:Create Your Own AR/VR App or Game
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to use Unity 3D software to develop a variety of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality applications. \nUnity 3D\, the world’s leading real-time engine\, is used to create half of the world’s games. Our flexible real-time tools offer incredible possibilities for game developers and creators across industries and applications in 2D\, 3D\, VR\, and AR. \nThis Workshop is for all people wanting to learn how to develop your first VR / AR game. We will develop Augmented Reality applications with the Vuforia Plugin in Unity. We will use the Google Cardboard SDK to develop a Virtual Reality application on the Google Cardboard. \nInstructor: Zaid Zaim (ReDI School) \n  \nIMPORTANT:\nInstall Unity 3D and check the following Components (see below) on your laptop beforehand (it takes >30 minutes) installing Unity and bring your laptop!\nhttps://unity3d.com/de/get-unity/download\nComponents:\n– Android Build Support\n– Vuforia Augmented Reality Support \nFAQs\nHow can I contact the organizer with any questions?\nSend an email to manuel@redi-school.org.\nAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?\nNo. You just need to be able to understand English.\nCan I come if I don’t have a laptop that runs Unity 3D?\nFor a few people\, we can provide a laptop with Unity 3D in case you don’t have one.
