SUMMARY:AR Theater Hackathon
DESCRIPTION:In our AR Theater Hackathon\, we will tackle the problem of multilingualism in live events. Similar to the Babelfish\, we want to enable individualized translation for the audience through AR glasses. The use case (individualized translation for viewers) can be found repeatedly (theater\, opera\, lectures\, congresses\, fairs\, concerts) is becoming increasingly critical with the increasing degree of internationalization. \nWe are hosting our hybrid hackathon on December 11th – 12th\, 2021\, in person at Göttingen\, Germany\, and virtual for all how can not come in person. \nWe will have our event under 2G+ that means that you can participate in person at the event when you are fully vaccinated or recovered and you were tested negative for Corona in the last 24h. \nPRIZES\n€7\,500 in prizes \n1st Prize\n3 Magic Leap One \n2nd Prize\nPANTHEA \n3rd Prize\nXHACK \nJUDGES\nRichard Noack\nCEO | XHACK \nReimar de la Chevallerie\nRegisseur | boat people projekt \nDavid Mass\nCEO Deutschland | PANTHEA \nJUDGING CRITERIA\nCreativity\nHow creative or innovative is the idea behind the prototype? \nUser Interface & User Experience\nIs the overall user experience intuitive? Does the flow make sense? \nTechnical Strength & Sophistication\nHow sophisticated is the application? Is a source code repository being used? Is there documentation? Are appropriate services and infrastructure being used (e.g. cloud computing\, databases)? \nFeasability\nDoes it actually work? How complete is the product? Could the prototype scale as a real solution with multiple users? \nPitch\nWas the team able to explain their idea and what the prototype actually did? Did the presentation and demo show how their hack has fulfilled the judging criteria? Did the team communicate the essence of why they did what they did and why it was important?
