XR Session 1 – Internet of Senses is coming… and it will not take 10 years
We all enjoy 5 human senses in everyday life: we drink aromatic coffee, caress our pets, feel rain on our faces and inhale beautiful scent of rose bouquet. But what if we can transmit these senses over oceans to reach dearest people miles away? This is not a sci-fi theory, this is happening now! Thanks to the modern technologies (which someone may call futuristic) we are able not only transmit senses, but also have an embodiment experience to feel fully the world around us. In his talk, Pedro will share his vision about the Internet of Senses and its application to extend our physical reality to unlimited ones and the importance of stimuli-transmition for people with physical limitations.

XR Session 2 – Mixed Reality for Cultural Heritage
Zaid is going to share his journey and exiprience on how he came to Mixed Reality and working with HoloLens.
Then He will take the audience on a journey to the ancient city of Palmyra (UNSECO Cultural Heritage site in Syria ) and will demonstrate within his talk a live demo with HoloLens 2 bringing Palmyras monuments back to life.
