FEMALE PROJECT INNOVATION DAY – DREAM BIG @ XING

We would like to welcome you to our very first female project innovation at XING that empowers women in tech and in work in general. You will have the opportunity to play around with some interesting technologies and go back to the time when you were a child. Check out our video 🙂

TOPIC OF THE DAY:
Dream Big @ XING – With the skills and technology that you have now what would you love to have and build as a child? Which big tech thing would make your childhood even more fulfilling? 

HARD FACTS:
·       16th of November – KICK OFF – start 6:30 pm – end 8:30 pm – Dammtorstr.30
During the kick-off event we will get the opportunity to get to know each other a little bit and you will get the chance to hear more about the organization and the plan. You will have an opportunity to choose the technology that you would like to work on and meet your project owner while having a drink.
·       17th of November – WHOLE DAY EVENT – start 10 am – end 7 pm – Dammtorstr.30
Now it’s time to get your hands dirty! After having your welcome coffee or tea with some fruits and snacks in the morning, let’s start! You will find your project owner and your team and start working on your project. The full agenda of the day will follow. Don’t worry – we will provide you with a lunch break and some brain food.

·       Voice recognition
·       Coders 

VOTES and PRIZES:
At the end of the day, groups will have a 10 min slot to present their work to our very thought and strict juries – our employee’s kids. We will have around 6 – 7 very opinionated boys and girls who will have a chance to enjoy your work and judge which group is the most fun and interesting for them based on their own very secret criteria J
Prizes for the winners are also set!!  

REGISTRATION:
This is a per invite event – please keep that in mind. Please do register. If you have someone in mind that would like to join please do let us know or share this! We are searching for women who are interested in tech. Engineers, PO’s, Designers, Project Managers, Coaches but also all the women who would like to get into tech or are studying.
However, also do keep in mind that there is a limited number of places. If necessary, we will make a waiting list so please be sure to register if you are really interested in joining and to let us know on time if you cannot in the end – maybe someone else can step in your place!
